Frequently asked questions
  • What is TIZI?

TIZI is the first domestic online money transfer portal of Banka Poštanska Štedionica a.d., Belgrade. Through TIZI, you can easily and quickly send money from abroad to a recipient in the Republic of Serbia.

Money is sent by charging the sender’s payment card. Once the transaction is confirmed, the funds are instantly available to the recipient in one of two ways:

    • Direct deposit into the recipient’s account at Banka Poštanska Štedionica, or
    • Cash payout at the nearest branch of the Bank.

Transferred funds are paid out exclusively in Serbian dinars (RSD).

  • How does TIZI work?

TIZI enables simple and secure online money transfers, exclusively from abroad to the Republic of Serbia.

The service can be used by individuals who hold Visa, MasterCard, or UnionPay payment cards intended for online payments, issued by foreign payment service providers.

  • How do I send money?

For the first money transfer, you need to register on the TIZI portal and then register the recipient to whom you want to send money. When sending a transfer, simply select the recipient and the amount you wish to send. You can easily track the status of each transaction in the transaction list within your account.

The total transfer amount—whether through one or multiple transactions to the same recipient—is limited to €5,000 (or the equivalent in RSD) per month.

  • How is the money collected?

After the money is sent, the Bank notifies the recipient via an SMS message sent to the mobile phone number provided by the sender during registration on the TIZI portal.

The Bank is obliged to allow the recipient to collect the funds no later than the end of the business day on which the transaction was made.

    • If the recipient is a Bank client, the funds are automatically transferred and immediately available in their current RSD account.
    • Other recipients can collect the funds in cash at any branch of Banka Poštanska Štedionica.

You can check the branch working hours on the Bank’s website: www.posted.co.rs

  • How much does it cost to send money to the Republic of Serbia via the TIZI portal?

For the money transfer service, the sender pays a fee in accordance with the Bank’s applicable tariff. The exact fee amount is displayed to the sender when entering the transfer amount, and the Bank charges the fee immediately upon the transfer. The recipient does not pay any fees.

You can view the detailed fee amounts on the Prices and Fees page.

Our service does not generate any revenue from currency conversion. The sender’s account is debited in accordance with the rules of the Card Organizations Visa, Mastercard, and UnionPay, in the currency of the account linked to the sender’s card. The Bank in Serbia receives, through Card Organizations, the required amount in euros to pay out the requested amount in dinars. Pay-outs in dinars are at the official mid-rate for EUR of the National Bank of Serbia on the transaction date.

Please note that your bank may charge an additional currency conversion fee. This charge may apply when a conversion is necessary for your card account for any transaction in a foreign currency.

  • I did not receive the security code after registration. What should I do?

If you did not receive the security code after registration, please check the following:

    • Did you enter your email address correctly during registration?
    • Could the message from the TIZI system have ended up in your spam/junk folder?

If the code still has not arrived after these checks, please contact TIZI portal support.

  • I forgot my password and the system shows the message “Username or password is incorrect.” What should I do?

If you fail to log in three times using the correct username and password, your account will be temporarily locked.

In this case, please contact us via e-mail at tizi@posted.co.rs so that we can unlock your account.

  • When is a money transfer considered completed, and what appears on the TIZI portal?

A transaction is considered completed at the moment the recipient collects the funds.

In the transaction list on the TIZI portal, the following statuses will appear:

    • “Credited to account” – if the recipient has an account with Banka Poštanska Štedionica.
    • “Paid to recipient” – if the recipient does not have an account with the Bank and collects the money in cash at a branch of Banka Poštanska Štedionica.

  • I sent money to the recipient, but they did not receive the SMS message with the transfer identification number when collecting cash at the Bank counter. What should I do?

The SMS message with the transfer identification number is sent only to recipients who do not have an account with Banka Poštanska Štedionica and who collect their funds in cash at one of the Bank’s branches.

If the recipient does not receive the SMS message, the sender or the recipient should contact the TIZI portal customer service:

  • When purchasing a transfer, I receive a message that the transaction was unsuccessful or not completed. What should I do?

Please check with the bank that issued your payment card (Visa, MasterCard, or UnionPay) whether your card supports transfer purchases on the TIZI portal.

  • Once I register on the TIZI portal, can I use my account again?

Yes. After a one-time registration, you can safely use your account multiple times by logging in with your username and password. Your account information is saved, and you can update it with new details whenever needed..

  • How secure is it to use the TIZI portal?

The TIZI portal operates in accordance with the highest international security standards and holds certifications from leading card organizations. As with other payment card transactions, the protection of user and card data is ensured according to the strictest payment security standards.

  • I have an account with MTS Bank, which is now part of Banka Poštanska Štedionica. Can I receive funds from abroad via TIZI directly to my current account that starts with 360?
